337-science-campingWe live in a tech world full of tech gadgets, so nerdy camping is something that has become very real. Some people (myself included) are a little more “tech dependent” than others, but at this point almost all of us have a cell phone, tablet, or i-something. We have become completely attached, and the idea of camping without my gadgets is a bit of a panic inducing thought.

I know that the idea is to get into nature, and away from technology. I know that. But it doesn’t stop me from wanting to listen to my favorite music on a hike, or to take that selfie in front of the waterfall. Maybe I need to be able to check my 8 email addresses at any given point, or click like on my best-friend’s sister’s boyfriend’s Facebook post. Not to mention the real help they are with GPS, and whatnot. So, for all of you techie Junkies like myself we are saved. There are many people that are getting on board with this, and they are coming out with products just for us. Like these:

CamelBak-All-Clear-UV-Water-PurifierCamelBak All Clear UV Water Purification Bottle

This amazing device actually cleans tap or clear water source into potable drinking water with a UV light! In 60 seconds you have water clear of 99.99% of bacteria and such. Making this and toilet paper the two absolutes for any camping trip.

I like coffee. A lot. This has to be one of the greatest inventions of the modern world. It is a handheld portable espresso machine. With this in toe, you just might get me to say until morning.

This little guy is amazing. You take some twigs and sticks, put them in the burning unit. The heat the cooks your food, but also is turned into electricity and will charge your USB device. Yeah, you hear me right…

Now, these are just the tip of the iceberg, but you can see where I am going with this. We tech junkies do not have to lose our mind out there in nature wishing that I could just check twitter one more time. One of the cool things about our chairs is that we are also ready for you to have all your gadgets, and have them right at your fingertips.

big-kahuna-angle---599lmCheck out our Big Kahuna chair! It is wide set for ultimate comfort, but also has a huge pocket on the side for your entire tech collection.

So, from one tech junkie to another, have fun and bring your tech. But don’t forget to enjoy what is around you, and the people who you are with.

Slacker Stool- 1389V

"I now keep one in my car ready for any type of activity where sitting is preferable than standing. You can insert your own activity here. The size make this easy to grab when in doubt, and has often served as a life saver.

Easily stored and low-profile. Almost no bigger or heavier than an umbrella. You will not complain taking it with you and will be rewarded by being rested and comfortable when you get up."

    Joey Chair- 7789V

"After owning this chair for a little more than half a year, I can confirm that this chair is all-around amazing. It is extremely comfortable and it is pretty light weight.

As others have mentioned, the feet outperform other chairs that have straight feet in the sand. The feet design allows for the chair to sit on top of sand rather than sinking in.

My friends are always jealous when I bring this chair to the park (which is every time, since its so easy to pack). So much that we often end up taking turns on it
If you're debating whether or not to get it, do yourself a favor and just buy it!"

    -Roger C.

    Big Kahuna- 599

"Awesome sturdy comfortable chair. I don't know why but I am the King Champion of breaking folding camp chairs. I am 6'2" 295lbs and have broke many 300lbs rated chairs, one chair cut up the back of my knee pretty good when it failed.

My son is 6'7" 325lbs and plays major college football, he has not even come close to breaking as many chairs as I have. Well the Big Kahuna Chair is rock solid and comfortable I don't ever see this chair failing. If it ever does I'll post it."
